Yes Lol its a hair pulling frustrating game somedays but I accept my losses and still grind that IP.

Its pretty much based off of dota a custom game mode created by users from Warcraft III. Leauge of legends just happens to be the biggest Moba out there now.
Usually each game last 30 minutes and 3-5 people per team and the objective is to destroy your enemys base by leveling up and spending gold on items make your champion stronger.

Aha! I was looking for a thread of this nature. So, this place doesn't have many LoL players, eh? That must change. The game is incredibly fun and based on what I have seen you guys love your strategy games. Shall I explain its basic concept?

Well, while in other generic strategy games you have to gather materials and create an army, in this game you control only one unit. This is the champion you select at the start- there are over 100 of them, although at the start you will only have access to the 10 free champions which change every week. You can buy champions with IP (which you get from playing matches) or RP (which you pay for. Nope in my case) and from then on you can use them whether free or not. Now, this is the cool bit- your champion has abilities and levels up and the like. You have to know when to use your abilities and when to aim them, while also farming gold by last hitting minions and gaining exp. There are different items you can buy which enhance your stats (attack damage, armour, magic resist etc) and these items are crucial to the game- there would be no point in getting certain items on certain champions, and by building certain items such as heavily armour based ones you could completely counter certain enemy champions, namely physical damage based ones in this case. It's quite easy to grasp if you have someone guiding you through it. Otherwise, not so much.

Yeah like JJ said you only control 1 unit and only have 4 spells and beside being skill base its also more of strategy to, like have a right team meta.
Building items to make your champion stronger or counter build what other champions buy. Learn your champion strength and weaknesses as well as your enemy.
Work with your team mates call MIA when your lane opponent is gone because they may be going to a different lane to gank you allys.
It gets really heated when its a full team fight and you have to have your tank or somebody catch them off guard for a split second and totally destroy their team then rush their base and win the game.
It would be fun to have some people on fourms join as the matches are usually 15-30 minutes and can have teams of 1v1 to 5v5.

Getting tired of how team reliant 5v5 is.

Anyone down for some custom games we can try 2v2 or 1v1? and if your a low level I can handicap myself and take away my runes/masterys so its even fight if you want.

Yeah, from what I read, he is very good as a support for a Marksman. Ez, Cait, Ashe. Those are some that were pointed out to work really well with him. I'm not sure how his top lane would be though. He would probably have to duo top, I don't think solo would work well, as his offensive capabilities seem limited.
