I will be re branding the community in the near future. I want Claytonia to be more of a Gaming community. We will still have the minecraft servers and I will be added more servers for different games in the coming weeks. I have been looking into new ways of advertising which will hopefully be bringing in new faces. Im doing this to take the community to the next level.

Instead of CU (Claytonia united) it will be CG "Claytonia Gaming".
I have a Buddy who is willing to make a logo and a banner, however, I much rather have the community make the images. If anyone would like to submit logo and banner ideas/images please do so.
I want to give everyone a say in this before the change. Here is your chance.

I would also like to get one application for all of claytonia.
i know this will be a big change and would like your input on how to make it work on the different servers.
maybe one application post then a post in each server's board with what race you want to be or a request to be white listed.

I could rewrite the main splash page to direct new players directly to the seperate application areas, and change the formatting a bit.. I don't know how youd get one sibgle application to work

we could do one app then they would post under RPG saying they want to be an elf or under vanilla saying they want to be white listed.
a big complaint has always been "i dont think i should have to fill out the same app twice for a different server." and i understand it bc the apps are all but the same, and they r kinda long..

What about if we just make one generic application, add in the race thing but put (for RPG only) next to it.. Then when an application is made, they're whitelisted on all available servers by theor respective admins... Then those admins post on the application, leaving whatever notes necessary

I like the idea there Tslat. I was thinking something like this. We have a question on there that asks "What server are you applying for?" or something along those lines. Under that, we have another that says "If you are applying for RPG, what race would you like to be?". Or, if it's the Towny server, it could be "If you are applying for The Towny/Economy server, what is rule #4?". See what I'm getting at? On the note of the logo, I like the current one, and if we could just change the U to G and throw "Gaming" in there somewhere if at all possible, this logo would still work. I like this logo, and Tslat put quite a bit of work into it. It would be a shame to just have to throw it away.

Then they still have to come back to reapply for different ones though.. If we just give them the optional questions relating to each server they can potentially applyfor all at once

Yes. That is the basic one. Then, under that question, would be a question for each server. For RP, it would be about the race you want to be. For Econ, it would be about Rule #4. YOu would only have to answer the question on your server, and of course the first one. Or, we could just have a series of them. "If you are applying for the Role Playing Minecraft server, what race would you like to be?". "If you are applying for the Economy Minecraft server, what is Rule #4?".

Is there anywhere else on the logo we could throw in "Gaming" and not make it too cluttered? I like the No Gamer Left Behind motto. I used for our WoT Clan.

I tried adding gaming next to the "no gamer left behind" and i felt like i was about to read a story..

And no gamer left behind is way better than just gaming, so i didn't wanna replace it..

You're still free to give it a shot kat, you might come up with something good

Eh I liked the golden bronzy color better. The blue doesn't have enough contrast with the black of the background and it doesn't really pop out much. Plus the edges of the forums and the headers are also blue, making the whole forum very blue and not as exciting. Orange is the color opposite of blue on the color spectrum (I forget the technical term for it) and they work really well together.

TL;DR I like the bronzy logo better.
