Ok. So while i was touching myself in the shower i was thinking about Rtab. He fell to his death earlier. It reminded me of a minecraft mini game, fall down or whatever. I was wondering if people out there would be interested in maybe every now and then playing some mini games. You know, like the download this map, play with this many people, read the rules, all that jazz. No need to pay for a dedicated server, as long as like 1 person can run the free server thing from the minecraft website.

Just a random thought.

I think this is a great idea. There are games on the Semi server, but for one's that aren't, we could do this. I have wanted to try Creeplunk for awhile.

Realms isn't out as far as I know; it's still work in progress

You should put up a poll, and ask in the poll if people will play. That way, you can get an idea of how well your investment will be used.

No I just looked Minecraft realms up and nah i'd prefer to do it the way i know and just buy one off ofhosting sites (Y)

It does make sense though.. Mojang doesn't really make much revenue apart from one off payments for mc.. It'd be a good move for them

True, but 12000000 one off payments is quite a few... Plus the revenue from pocket edition and xbox 360 version... In addition to that, they have very few staff members...

Yeah but after the one off payments, there's no future revenue.. It's not a good scheme for longevity

True, my only concern would be overcharging and chasing away potential customers...

I trust Mojang but Minecraft is not the only source of their income, Think about it if 1 billion people own Minecraft, an 8th of the world that is 14 billion pounds approx 27 billion dollarsplus about half of that buy the merchandise, about 20$ for a tshirt lets say 250 million buy a tshirt thats 5 bilion dollars on top of the 27 billion already plus the other games they own like runes and links and they earn commission on every modpack in the technic pack, Including Minecon every year, They have no reason to be poor and will be going for yers to come

Yeah, eventually, one off payments will stop rolling in; then, it's over.
