So over this trip I have started reading the "Game of Thrones" series and oh my good gravy! So good!

I have a question,
What are YOUR favorite books? Comics included if that's where your interests lie. Personally, I never liked comics.

Aside from reading, on the offtopic of Game of Thrones. Do you watch the show? I love it myself.

My favorite would have to be the first series of the wariors books

Kaz

I have not, yet! Mainly cause I lack HBO and Netflix. I wish to watch soon though!
And I've never heard of those, fish, care to explain?

Well it's a series about clans of cats there are 4 clans ThunderClan, RiverClan, WindClan, and ShadowClan. The first series of it is based around fire paw and the thunder clan. I'm not proud to admit it but i got emotional at times because you get attached to the characters. I strongly recommend reading it as it is a good read.

Zito

My favortie series of books is definitely Song of Ice and Fire ( Game of Thrones series). I have read them all and I really can't wait for the sixth one lol.

It really kills me to do a double post... Anyways, Kaz, the Artemis Fowl series is about an Irish kid who's father recently disappeared. His father was a big time criminal in previous years, and Artemis believes that he must take over the family business. Soon after, he finds himself in a world that he didn't think could exist... There are a total of eight books in the primary series, and a few spin-offs I think, but I haven't read them. The books are more along the lines of young teen books, but I read them since I was a kid, so i stuck with the series. They aren't very long, but not too short either, and the story is really good. The author is Eoin Colfer, and he recently released the first book of his new series, W.A.R.P. I read that one as well, and would recommend it as well. Here is a link to The author's website if you want to check either series out: http://www.eoincolfer.com/

I prefer to read these new video books.
Also called movies.
Steam IGN  : Mzmerize761
Xbox Live IGN: Mzmerize761

Zito

Movies are always crap compared to the book versions... The movies always leave too much out, or get the story completely wrong :|

Or, if you don't read the book at all, they get it 100% right.

Xbox Live IGN: Mzmerize761

Zito

Then you don't know the real story.

There are many pros and cons to both sides of the argument, I personally enjoy reading a lot more than watching movies.
I'm also writing a novel, when I get a bit done I'll post it on here, cool?

Dark Paladin Series
The Council War Series
Empire of Man Series
Troy Rising Series

They are mainly Sci-Fi but I have reread all of them a few times.

Woodsy1995

I enjoyed the Demonata books by Darren shan, 10 books all quite small about demons that are made of all shapes and sizes, he also did a book called the thin executioner which puts a good spin on religion.
He's the number 1 horror book writer in the UK
From Lizard to John O' Groats, is the land I own

Zito

I've actually never read a horror book :o

I hate to double post, but I recently started a new series set in a post-apocalyptic world. The first book in the trilogy is called Legend, the author is Marie Lu. I would recommend it if you are looking for something to read.
