It's basically just matching a patch that was added to the main branch of mcmmo a while back.
Entities spawned by nether portal spawning methods won't give mcmmo xp. It's basically just like how spawner mobs work

That type of spawner does not work on this server anyway. Prime built one and its F-n huge! Not a single pigmen has ever came through.

By chance is looting 3 now a better option ?
After all the working getting fishing this high seems some what wasted if so.
I've killed quite alot this morning and have not seen a single head.
But swords coal and bones. Enough coal to make 10 blocks. Lol
