Tokilin

Tokilin Reyjavick Droplin

Race:: Elf

Role:: No Special Roles

Gender:: Male

Age:: Nearing the end of his second cycle, approx. 257 human years.

Description:: This'll have more detail when I find my new skin (This is the reason I have no picture of him up yet) and edit it slightly.

Personality:: Tokilin is distant, at best. He doesn't like to get close to people because of his past, but that doesn't stop him from helping those who need it. With the knowledge to obtain what he needs, he will help those around them with their dreams and aspiration preferring to teach them how to fish as opposed to giving them the fish. When he finds something impressive such as a building or a contraption of unique purpose, he is compelled to study it. Humans would describe it as curiosity.

Lore:: Tokilin is an elf of the north, a true spruce elf. Born in the village of Nivos, he enjoyed the first 12 years of his life till his village was razed a dragon. Barely surviving after hiding under his parents' bodies as they threw themselves atop him to protect him, Tokilin vowed to exact revenge in the beasts. This brought him south.

Venturing south, he came across the Great Tree; it was something he'd only heard about from the stories his parents would tell. Asking around the village at it's base, rumors of dragons being in the vicinity were heard. A base known as the spruce isle was quickly formed and he began to search for the dragons.

As time moved forward, a couple elves had flocked towards him, the high elf in the area, Zito, and a young girl who seemed to have spruce elf decent within her, Faiyuki. For once since his village in the north he seemed to have a family. His base grew to include the necessities of the area, such as a vault to keep the golems out, or farms to feed himself. Other things seemed to have been built as well, such as a large treehouse and a grand dining table spurred into existence by the feelings he had for the place and people. Until the dragons were found.

5 of them, in the fields next to the forest of the great tree, so close to his new home. The battle took weeks, terrifying roars and large balls of fire filled the area. Eventually, he defeated them all. Exhausted he sat on a hill near the field and looked towards the forest. The sight filled him with fear, the forest seemed to be unharmed... But the field was destroyed. Huge gashes left the field with ravines, craters and fire expanded till his eyes couldn't see the rest of the field on the horizon. It was all so close to his new home.

He feared the Great Tree would have the same fate as Nivos did, that he would lose his happiness. So he left, scouring the lands looking for them, the dragons.

Years later Tokilin returned to the tree, after slaying what he believed to be the last of the dragons in the land. Only a few familiar faces greeted him. The spruce isle seemed deserted, the once grand hall was covered in cobwebs, the farm was empty, and he couldn't find his friends. Asking about the village, he was told that Zito the high elf had vanished. As for Faiyuki, no one would tell him. He began to look for her.

Things had changed in his absence, from the faces to new structures. A small town seemed to be forming at the crossroads he had helped to construct in his youth. As he explored it, he came across a cafe run by an elf. He went inside, weary from his search and ordered a simple meal and asked the elven lady on where Faiyuki could possibly be. His hopes of happiness being returned were shattered when he was told that Faiyuki had died.

He no longer wanted to return to the isle. Tokilin began to construct a inn at the forming town, having no where to return to and his vengeance on the dragons done he figured it would be one of the better places to settle down...
Until next time, this was Toki
