The specs look good, thought ive never really like Nividia, but overall it looks like a good pc.

Looks decent.. I could always suggested better options but its really a neverending trail of suggestions...

For the price, its not bad.. Though that gpu will struggle with high end games like crysis and such.. Other than that, should handle everything you need

Hey guys some people down at best buy got my dad into liking this computer - http://www.bestbuy.com/site/17-3-laptop-8gb-memory-1tb-hard-drive/8937112.p?id=1218954923465&skuId=8937112&st=Asus%20G750&cp=1&lp=1 i feel like i would be loosing stuff from a with a $150 difference. Will this asus do what i want it or should i try to talk my dad out of the asus?

As always, it depends on what you want to do..

The first computer was slightly better in just about every way, except the GPU, in which case the first one was far better. (Though still not quite enough for the very best of games)

Personally I'd do a few more lawns and pay for the first one if these were the only two choices.
