Hi everyone ,

I have the below question that neither google or the minecraft forum people seem to know the answer to.
Anybody here knows maybe ? :

Me and my friend play 1.8.8 totally vanilla over lan with me using the "open to lan" option.
My question is how does the game save at my end ? Is it also only when I press esc at my side ?
Or does auto-saving become active when I "open to lan" ? If the latter at how many minute intervals ?

I am away from my pc for hours sometimes but he still plays while I just stand afk , now I am wondering with me not
there and not pressing the esc key , does the game then not save during that time ?

Thanx

Tslat

In theory, it should save just like a normal Single player world does;

-Every time a chunk is unloaded
-Whenever the host exits
-Whenever the host presses esc (though it's likely this one doesn't apply to lan
Like what you see here?

We can't keep doing it without you!
