Anyway, who's heard of this game?
It sounds really interesting. From what I can tell, it's a huge, single server game that's focused on Survival.

Aaaand they emphasize the permanence Of everything we do in the game. Everything we change stays, our dead bodies stay in the world to be found by others, etc.
And its freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee~   <(every extra 'e' was entirely necessary)

Anyone try it? I figure ill check it out when i get the laptop back lol

Oook... addendum to my first post.

Death in H&H = Permadeath.
That character is gone forever.
Once you die, your soul, as i understand it, goes back to the beginning where you make a new character.
You have the option of starting over completely, starting near a friends' "Hearthfire", and even "inheriting" your previous characters legacy. Im unsure if this means his items or his skills and knowledge.

This is from the how to, so from what I can tell as long as one person has a hearthfire and posts the password, everyone can just go there from start.

But, I tried it out last night, and it's a bit of a steep learning curve, but it's pretty fun.

There's a lot of crafting, exploring, and learning to do before you can get very far.

I tried it too, it seems that you get points everytime you do something important for the first time, like getting wood or stone or making a bear out of a pinecone and some sticks, from that you can get new skills that allow you to craft more things and do more things too. Someone post their hearthfires code and "the empire" will begin.

Yup yup. Apparently, that's only one of the ways you're able to get Learning Points.

Aaand that'll take some time. We gotta work on making a dream catcher first, do get the dream required. That'll involve getting a few new skills, and making all kinds of items to make it.

Actually, to get together you just have to set your hearth secret under the kin and then people can go to your location on spawn.
I will post mine if you want.

And you can travel with it, I think you are looking at when you make a new hearth fire.

I tried to play, but my fire wall blocks it from running. Can't seem to figure out how to stop blocking it.

It's not your firewall, Zero, it's the new java update. Open up your java config and add the base website to your safe website sections. Java stopped letting self-signed applications run on your computer for some security update. Just type "java config" in your search bar to find it.

Sounds about I remember something about the self signing thing, so I will give it a shot when I get off work.
