Hey guys! So I've been wanting to try skyrim for a while now, but there are so many games out that I don't know what to start with. What do you guys recommend? I'm leaning towards a console version (I have an x-box 360) but I'd go with a computer version if you guys recommended that. So what do you say? What game should I try?

Titanfall is AMAZING!

the newest tomb raider was a good story and fun to play
far cry 3 (dont bother with 1 or 2) is a great story with good game play
splinter cell blacklist is tons of fun with a great story AND ill play with you

far cry 3 is a skyrim game? I thought it was a separate game.

I have skyrim for both PC and Xbox. I personally suggest the PC version.

I'm pretty sure she's asking what version of skyrim is better:  PC or Xbox.

Having only played the Xbox version, I say go with PC.  Tons of mods, you don't have to deal with fps control sticks (mouse interface is much better), and you can D & D in between missions.

I've only played the PS3 version for a couple minutes, so I can't say either way. I prefer 360 versions of games that I have played on both though. Furry has a point though, if you do it on PC, you could D&D between missions .

Wait WHAAAT you can connect your xbox controller to the computer? O_O And I was asking which game to get meaning which one in the series. Aren't there 5? I'm kinda clueless when it comes to this.

You can only do that with certain games, and it's still not the same.

and yes u need to make sure the game supports controllers, most do

Oh Skyrim is one game in the elder scrolls series... Uh... well derp :p Will I be lost if I just skip 1-4 and start with 5?

I've never really been into the series, but from what I know there is no story connection between them all. Don't take my word as law on that one though.

the games lore are connected through books inside the game you won't be lost though if you do play only skyrim
