Connection Problem

I was double checking and updating all of my Minecraft to make sure it will start up for this weekend and i run into this with tekkit..

I dont know for sure but the other address i had for the claytonia tekkit sever had 4 people on.

Yes and it wouldn't even try to connect, the second I clicked join it went straight to "end of stream" or any of the other common responses that usually don't display after trying to connect again.

I thought it had to be something with white listing but I already have been on the sever.

You tried creating a brand new minecraft profile and running off that?

The Technic Launcher doesn't use profiles, I'm pretty sure.
