A community build for the long term members.
We share ALL materials.
Build close to each other to get the look of a town. just pick a free spot along side a road.
feel free to move a road if you need to just rebuild it.
mine on your own(everyone mines differently)
Use the public chests for whatever you need but be sure to store your items there so others can use the materials.

Ok im going to keep this quick, first off be great to get an area on forum for coop!
More important however, we need a fence or wall that keeps mobs out of area, they are everywhere! so i think this should go on the build, i find the block of stone, fence on top and then slab of wood will keep everything away, even spiders can get past it, then we light up area and we sorted.

Why i think we need this, I was getting wool from rtabs pit, and a creeper jumped in and kill everything in it. Im sorry Rtab :( i tryed to get a sheep in there to start the re spawn of them but ran out of time before i had to log off! maybe a few ppl can help out, I am sorry for my part in this, tho i had little control in it :(

So to end we need a defensive wall!

I like this idea i had something similar to this idea but for a different reason. I would love it if you took this idea and ran with it. Give us a better understanding of how to implement it. For example should we do the whole town or just the plots you know that kinda thing. I would love to make you project manager on this idea that way we can see your idea to fruition and the  community agrees with this idea.

Cool, well ill do a demo of it near the notice wall, and can leave it there for like 24 hours for ppl to see it and then we can comment and edited the plan, and decided if we want to run with it.
I think around the hole town would be best, but we need to keep it just the right size so that we can light up the area so nothing spawns in it. though at any case it should reduce the mobs numbers a fair bit.

I just got one sheep back to Rtabs sheep pen, and guess when, I am not joking but a creeper jumped in and killed it....

I am officially against the wall idea, however if there is a wall built this is where i suggest it be built


EDIT: I kinda like the wall idea BECAUSE it will be a project that everyone involved can work on together.
that being said if another community project came up I would also be in favor of that.

I'm voting for just lamp posts because with the walls and the are getting bigger we would have to keep moving the all there for using more materials. Maby after building has slowed down than maby a wall but for now I think a light post will be the easiest to move around

demons  wall does look good, only one thing is that it wont stop spiders :(

Ah yes I found the one down by the green house thing, ya I'm happy to get rid of the one beside me, tho the other one only had white sheep at so we will need to get some black nd gray ones up there :)

Did anyone come across a diamond axe about 1/2 used yesterday! I seem to have left mine somewhere!.....

Also Ive seen that a few of the roads have names, i vote the road im on becomes "Doctors Lane" :)

I would like to just point out, that my after i finished my stone tunnel to my mine, I though it did not look at nice on the map as it was not under ground, so i planted a forest around it and have be working on making it look nice!

SOMEONE! has come along and cut down over 1/2 the trees (which i dont mind in its self) but NEVER replanted them... so now 1/2 the tunnel is showing..... when i get time ill re plant but if ppl keep been lazy im not going to bother again.

This leads me to my 2nd point, Every morning gmt i come on i go down to the store room and take stuff out of random box and put it where it is ment to go... who ever again this lazy person is please stop putting seeds, stone, mob find (which has box right beside this one) and other stuff that is not that random in here :) as im not going to keep cleaning store room every day!

This is a community i think we all need to not just think about our selves but our other fellow community members..

My rant is over, but it had to be said :)

Thank you for your Rant Dr. i will look into this issue asap and I totally agree with you I will post it here and on the information board If I catch one more person not replanting zoned tree farms and not organizing the items in the right chest i will remove you from the coop build. As the good Dr. has stated this is a community and i know every community has its bad apples but lets try to make this world a fun one. NO one is anybody's mother on this server and we shouldn't have to clean up after anyone. Take care of your own stuff.

NP Dubh;

On to something else; Ive been looking at a lot of youtube VIDs and want to try an small underwater house.. I was wondering where i could build it, that is, I could build it at my home on normal part of server, Or i could and would be happy to build it on the community build! What would the admins and clay like?

If i go with in on the community build im happy OFC for other people to build around me, Or if you would like this not to be part of the build do just say and ill keep it in my own home area on the main part of server :)
