So as many of you are aware, Minecraft 1.8 came out only a few days ago.
This is a much awaited update, having been in the works for over a year now. Unfortunately however, to run the servers we, and just about everyone else runs; we have to run a slightly modified version of Vanilla called "Bukkit".
Bukkit is basically the same as Vanilla, except it allows us, as administrators to manage the server and ensure it runs at its best at all times.
We, just as many others are, awaiting an update to Bukkit to support 1.8 to allow us to update our own server.
However, a previous Bukkit-Dev has filed a DMCA report against Bukkit and its sister projects, claiming that his work is now being abused whilst under his license, now that Mojang owns Bukkit.
This means that all recent updates to Bukkit itself have had to have been pulled down, and are waiting on the results of the ensuing lawsuit before they can be put back up.
This means that our update to 1.8 could be severely delayed, and/or we may have to look to alternate solutions if this goes far enough.
It seems there is not much that can be done except to wait and see what happens. I will post updates here as I find them.

So is there anything that can changed that will allow the update?
Well, one way would be to have the server 100% Vanilla, but that would take away all of the Anti-Greifing plugins.
get in TS, go to the vanilla minecraft channel, and read the description carefully
The description, and everything else has been amplified for easy viewing
And it's hard to get around lol
but its fun!
