Last I checked, the docks were looking fantastic. Are you gonna go with the old classic wooden galleon? i was thinking it might be cool to try and make one of the first ironclads (preferably the Gloire or HMS Warrior rather than the U.S. civil war beasts)

You've got some good nautical taste. I really like the Gloire, and it'd be killer if we could do something similar to that; however, the goal should be to do this without any blueprints or youtube help (1. we'll appreciate more it 2. streaming doesn't get along with my crappy satellite internet).
Prime has an entire mesa of stained clay, which is perfect for this sorta build. Maybe he can grant us access rights for some cash. I don't think using iron blocks for the plating would look nearly as good as a mix of wool, wood, clay, and various ore blocks.
I know I haven't been online during the day as I've hit my bandwidth cap (...damn you iCarly after-christmas special!!!), but I'll make an effort to play during capless hours (12am-5am...ish) for resources.

Its not that. Multiplayer minecraft straight up doesn't up play after i've hit my internet cap. I think there's some background programs that downloads/uploads during the day because I don't download a whole lot, nor do I stream (except during capless hours 12am-5am PST or 8am-1pm GMT). A hidden program/malware would also explain why my comp's been running so ridiculously slow as of recent.
