1.7.8 is just a step to move the name changing feature over into the game, and a few un-named bug fixes


Don't install a 1.7.8 compatible version of spigot on any server at the moment as it seems that it has a bug where logging off will prevent you re-logging into the server unless you restart your minecraft entirely every time
