I am at stock ride height, I know someone that has a 3500 with 5" appx. lift and 38" tires. There's the big truck you are talking about.

It actually helps off-road driving a lot. That is the only reason I would get a lift.

Lol mine would jsut sink if I did that. the wheel base is too long and with the tools and shell it doesnt mud very well.

On the second pic, that was the only dry spot for me to turn around. My truck just sinks in to the mud (approx. 1-1 1/2 ft.), it was not fun crawling through it at redline and there was no way anyone could pull me out.

Yep its all about the wheel base of the truck and the weight. It looks like you have a long bed which would cause problems too.

The front and rear axles are limited slip along with a locked transfer case, with out that, there would have been no way to get out of there.
