I am making the rounds to try and collect what stories I can of the old Valebat server.
I sent a few messages out to various people, but limited to those I can remember off hand.
If you use to play on the server I ask you to try and remember what you can.
For those of you who use to play, but can't really remember much, post here anyway. Seeing your name may bring out my memories.

I sent Joe a message, but I am not sure if he responded. Will update if he did.
Kaz, he is a name I did not remember. I will try and contact him.
Woodsy (The golem in me is still furious with him.) I will try to contact.
Tricky I forgot to message, but I did remember him.

Oh and Zito which I assume you have already talked to lol. Also another person would be Danny4rest, although I think he has faded into time. Him and I were the founders of the new Ice race the Iglim.

When there was nothing but the Spirits of the Land, five brothers found themselves strong at hand, they conquered those who roamed, and found themselves alone. With new power in their hands, they agreed to remake the world. Each brother was pleased with their new found powers, so they chose to form a new world. When they were done with the task, they chose to create life with everything they did, and they agreed and were satisfied until the last choice of their creation: The Race that would populate the land... there was much division among the brothers.

Arach wanted a race which he named "Human." He described them as adventurers, smart witted, and resourceful, yet with a lust for land. Even still, they were well rounded for all tasks & easy to get along with.

Viridis wanted to make what he called an "Orc." A Blood thirsty bunch with green skin, that cared for nothing but blood and destruction.

Varros wanted noble and strong beings made from the purest items of the world: Iron, gold, and diamond. They were stubborn and made from the mountain... he anointed them "Dwarves."

Arbor wanted similar goals as Varros, but loved the beauty of the trees, not the rocks. He wanted beings of pride and upper nature. Thus the "Elf" came into being.

Lutum loved the dark, and wanted a creature of the shadows... sneaky and cunning, made of the bare essence of the world such as clay and soil. He called them "Golems."

Because of their disagreement, the brothers began to fight. Arach chose no side but was the first to make his race how he saw fit. Viridis, full of hate, was the second to build his race putting in them his vengeful nature. Varros and Arbor tried to find common ground but in the end they found a new hate for one another, and they each made their own race. From the beginning Lutum had no intention of finding common ground, so he also made his race.

Because of the deity's division, each race was blessed with a small aspect of what they where talented with. If only the brothers had built the race of the world together, maybe then all aspects of the world would have been theirs.

Now is born the Human, Elf, Dwarf, Orc, and Golem...

Which will you be?

The Älfar are a mysterious race of which very little is known. While they share similar traits with several other races; they consider themselves pure, and 'above' the other races. They express vehement hatred towards all of the other races, and show extreme hostility towards them (particularly towards Elves).

They are often caught hunting down the other races for blood. This blood is used as paint, which they need for their paintings. They value these paintings equally as much as Golems do with their 'shinies'.

There are a number of well-observed traits that the Älfar posses, such as: Extreme speed and agility, practically impossible capabilities in movement and stealth, and incredible aim they use these traits to their advantage, being very efficient at hunting their prey.

They appear to prefer combat with bows, and it is well recognised that they are a truly deadly foe to reckon with.
The Älfar worship a deity who is referred to as "The Lady of the Night" who appears to either be one of the Five Brothers involved in the creation of the other races, or possibly a sixth deity that has been forgotten through history.

The conflict between the Älfar and the other races seems to transcend the mortal realm, and a conflict between their "Lady of the Night" and her brothers (particularly Arbor) appears to be brewing.

Not much is known about this mysterious race. Strange ice creatures, they are almost never found outside of the icy lands they call home. They actively avoid the warmer biomes, as the heat slows and weakens them.

They were created by a cosmic event occurring within the ice where they now live. While they have no deity, there is a mysterious bodiless being in their city, which does grant them gifts in exchange for sacrifices.

The Iglims. In appearance, they are like a humanoid block of ice.
Iglim may craft with Wood, Stone, Gold, and Iron.
Iglim may wear Gold or Diamond Armor.
Iglim may collect Ice and Packed Ice without silk touch.
Iglim may not drink potions.
Iglim do not eat.
The "being" accepts offerings of ice, snow, water, and pearls.

Inarians are the hunters of the desert, brought forth by the Huntress Inua on a full moon. Like their deity, their main vocation is hunting the prey in their desert homes, and wherever else the herds may lead them, usually from horseback. They often use hunting dogs, and are so well trained they avoid any blows from their master..

They are friendly with both the Elves and the Dwarves, but are only neutral with the various Humans, as they often squabble and bicker. Though they'll trade with them, they prefer not to.

The Inarians have 2 Oracles for Leaders, an Oracle of Essence and the Oracle of War. They only live in deserts near sources of water, and may not live outside of their home city unless they have been made a noble and been given permission to build an outpost.

In appearance they have cat like lower legs and fawn like ears.
Inarians may craft with Wood, Stone, Gold, and Iron.
Inarians may use Bows and Enchanted Bows.
Inarians may not craft or use Swords.
Inarians may not use Axes in Combat.
Inarians are the only race that may craft Saddles and Horse Armor (Including Diamond).
Inua accepts offerings of meat, leather, and feathers, though only at night.

Wulvar are seemingly primitive nomads, migrating from cave to cave every so often as they follow their prey, occasionally returning to their home grounds. They are never alone, living, hunting, and building always in packs. Though they appear as large humanoid wolves, they bear no relation to the smaller animals that roam Valebats forests.

They rarely wear armor, and only ever fight with their formidable claws. They are always careful around flames, as their pelts catch fire easily. Not much is known of their culture, or their deity, save her name: Helena.
Wulvar may craft with Wood and Stone.
Wulvar may only fight unarmed.
Wulvar may wear Leather and Chain Armor.
Wulvar may only eat meat.
Wulvar must change biome every fortnight, and must always live in caves.
Wulvar must always live, migrate and build in groups. No lone Wulvars.
Helena accepts offerings of meat, bones, hides, and eyes.
