It started out is everyone was poking fun at how my Japanese heritage excites me
So I started looking around YouTube for ideas and saw someone build a nice pagoda so I decided to try to make one myself.
I can't wait to see it when you are done, it looks amazing already!

Second Floor complete along with the roof (need 28 emeralds to add detail but done for the most part).
All that is left is to add detail to the walls, and ill FINALLY be about a 3rd of the way done with the full build!

All in all, I think it is starting to look really well.
Looking great, as always Zero! I love the look of the fountain, with the sugarcane there, it really just is a nice feature.

Do you mean Shinto gates? If so they have reason behind them. The red is a symbolic for Buddhism. The gate itself is symbolic to expel demons before you walk apon holy grounds. Such as temples or just land people hold dearly.
Sorry, didn't mean to go off. Ill see what I can do.
My next project is actually to add to the pagoda. Ill be building a shrine. Maybe I can put the Shinto gate leading to it.

Oh wow tokyo, ummmm i dont think that is possible without creative. I also prefer the old style more than the modern.
You could build a smaller Japanese style town then, with the old style :p
I plan too, but it will take some time. the walls would have to be made from nether quartz. but i will work towards it.
