Title: Protecting event areas
Post by: Clay on January 07, 2014, 12:40:50 AM
Allpone pointed out that we were not supposed to break/place any blocks in the even today(1/6/13)
I think what we need to do is protect the event area's with world guard to ensure this wont happen again.
If your opped ask me in game for a walk through on how to do this.

I can do the region-protection, just need to know which flags are desired or required.  Figure would have to allow chest-access for most of them, for example.  What I don't know is the whole separate world thing... neither how to travel to them or create new ones if necessary.  Currently most of the event/mini-game area's are just sort of floating around central spawn.

For seperate worlds, if it is Multiverse, it would be /world [worldname]. /world would also cycle you through them I'm pretty sure.

Pretty sure Allpone wants them kept secret for now. When u need to know ill put the info on the forums. So we can all go through them and protect the world.

Sounds like a plan.  I did just talk to Allpone, and I'll be moving the few we already have setup to one of the new worlds that's already set aside for mini-games.  Can we cut & paste between worlds, or should I plan on rebuilding from scratch?  If the clipboard doesn't carry over, it's not worth saving and loading from file, they're not that big.... and I may just re-build them anyways, try to improve on them.
