These are the base rules for the Dwarven race:

• Dwarves can only build houses/bases inside mountains reach above 115 blocks high (Y=115) all dwarf dwellings/structures must be connected to the main city via a tunnel that is paved
• Dwarves can't use bows
• They are the only race that can build and use Tinkers Construct smeltery
• Dwarves can use firearms and grenades
• Dwarves are the only race that can mine and place obsidian. this does not mean they can make nether portals
• They can't make magical items, or enchantments, nor can they use magical items at all. They can use enchanted items however
• They are the only race that can use Tinkers Construct hammers
• They generally have trouble eating plant-based foods, and eat more meat
• Dwarves can't brew potions
